Collection: Dokra Art Brass Handicraft

Dokra is among the world's oldest surviving metal casting traditions. The process begins with artisans sculpting each figure in wax, covering it with layers of clay, and firing it in a kiln. As the wax melts away, molten brass is poured into the cavity, creating intricate metal sculptures with exceptional detail. Since the mould is broken after casting, every Dokra creation is unique and cannot be exactly reproduced.

The handcrafted wooden frame undergoes a traditional flame-burning process that naturally darkens the surface while highlighting the wood's beautiful texture. The result is a rich antique finish that perfectly complements the heritage-inspired Dokra artwork.
